MIEN TAY CONSTRUCTION UNIVERSITY
On August 19, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi led the Ministry's Delegation to work with Mien Tay Construction University to understand the operation situation, development steps in the coming time, in order to guide orientations, meet the training of human resources for the Southwest region.
Minister of Construction Ministry Nguyen Thanh Nghi wants the university to focus on and improve the quality of training, improve the quality of the teaching staff, and build a qualified team to meet the demand for human resources in the construction industry.
After listening to the leaders of the Departments and Units commenting on the training, finance, human resources and other activities of the university, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi said, with the results that the university has achieved in the past time, has contributed to the development of the construction industry in the Mekong Delta region.
At the trend of integration and development, the Minister wished that the university focus to improve the quality of training, the quality of the teaching staff, and building a qualified team to meet the needs of human resource training for the construction industry in this area.
The Minister also noted that the university should pay attention and thoroughly overcome the points that have not been achieved in the enrollment works. In scientific research, the university should do better, because the published scientific research results would enhance the position and prestige of the university, which have a positive impact on the admissions process.
Regarding financial and asset management, according to the Minister, it must do well. The Party and mass organizations should be paid attention; a clean and strong collective should be built; clear assignment of responsibilities in the leadership of the university should be done. And an important thing that the Minister also requested that, it is necessary to take more care of the lives of the its officials, the income for the staff, the lecturers should be raised because they are the human resources of the industry in the Mekong Delta region.
Finally, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry, wished the Mien Tay Construction University to overcome all difficulties and successfully complete the assigned tasks, in order to train high-quality human resources to serve the industry in the Southwest region.
