Student Association of Mien Tay Construction University was formerly a Student Association of Mien Tay Construction College, was established in 2004 under the Vietnamese Students Central Association and was belonged to the Student Association of Vinh Long Province in 2009. The Executive Committee of the Students' Association consists of 17 members. Members of the Secretariat consists of 5 members.
Student Association of Mien Tay Construction University was honored to receive certificates of merits and emulation flags from the Vinh Long Student Association, the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnamese Students Central Association is also honored to receive many awards from individuals and collectives for excellent completion of the Student Association mission and Student movement for many years.
Tasks of Student Association of Mien Tay Construction University
1. Implementing the Charter of the Vietnamese Student Association. the Student Association of Mien Tay Construction University unites to encourage and help the Student Association members in studying and practicing to fulfill the tasks of the students, contributing to building the university stronger;
2. Educating ideals, traditions of moral lifestyle and the sense of law observance for students to deserve to be students of Mien Tay Construction University;
3. Reflecting the needs and aspirations of the students to Rector, faculties and functional departments, other unions, Vinh Long Student Association and relevant's.
4. Organizing cultural and artistic activities - sports, practically taking care of material and spiritual life for student members;
5. Coordinate with the other unions, faculties and functional departments of the university, relevant's to ensure the legitimate interests of the students, well perform the Student Association's works and student movement.
