Meeting with the delegation of Daejeon University (Korea)
On April 6th 2016, the delegation of Daejeon University (Korea) paid a visit to Mien Tay Construction University (MTU) and had a meeting with MTU’s leaders on academic cooperation and exchanges.
Leading the delegation to make brief visits on MTU, Prof. Lee Shin Young, the Representation of Daejeon University, who is in charge of international cooperation, shared with MTU’s leaders about the rich history and high expectations to greater cooperation between two universities in the near future. Speaking of the fascinating history, Daejeon University is rich in diversity of international students and has a continuous development. Regarding the cooperation, it is expected that the two entities will have academic joint programs and student exchanges which can be started in perfect time.

Receiving the Daejeon University delegation, MTU leaders present at the meeting were Dr. Nguyen Van Chieu, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan, Vice Rector; Dr. Truong Cong Bang, the Head of the Scientific Research and International Cooperation. Dr. Nguyen Van Chieu was pleased to say that MTU gladly welcomed academic cooperation between two universities to encourage ultimate effectiveness in search for profound knowledge and fostering the relationship between two countries as well.
In general, the meeting provided marvelous opportunities for academic programs and student exchanges between two universities. It opened an introductory chapter of cooperation between two educational institutions which also cements Vietnam – Korea relationship.
